James Gill, 36, established the business in 1989 going door-to-door around Sydney’s lower North Shore offering to remove rubbish. In 1997 he enticed his two younger brothers, Hamish, 34, and Geordie, 32, to quit their corporate jobs and join him.

“I wanted my brothers involved so I had a true family business. They both bring their own unique skills to the company,” James says.

In the beginning James developed a real understanding of the demands of the market place and recognised early the key factors important to his clients.

“Customers want to deal with professionals who understand that their time is valuable. We differentiated ourselves by being on time with a strong customer focus and friendly service,” James states.

Under the franchise model truck owner-operators enjoy the freedom of working for themselves with the backing of a respected brand. Franchisees don’t have the concerns of typical small business owners such as securing new business, staff, debt collecting, tip fees etc. It is a family run business established in Australia which gives potential franchisees a level of confidence and security. Depending on the number of days they work franchise owners can earn 75k to 100k but it is not unusual to earn 110k plus per annum.
