The business that's now known as 1300 RUBBISH Pty Ltd began in 1989, when school leaver James Gill started door knocking on the lower North Shore, Sydney, offering to take away rubbish in his $800 Falcon ute... 15 years later, 1300 RUBBISH operates multiple trucks in the Sydney area, and aims to grow into a national rubbish removal brand, offering customers fast, professional rubbish removal services at competitive prices. 1300 RUBBISH is now a franchise, and is actively seeking owner / operator drivers.
1300 RUBBISH uses a proprietary paperless job allocation system that saves each driver around 2 hours per day in paperwork and administration. By handling all marketing and administration at their headquarters in central Sydney, 1300 RUBBISH is able to free up drivers' time to concentrate on doing a great job for customers instead of mucking around with paperwork.
Customers benefits too - the franchise model allows 1300 RUBBISH to spread administration and marketing costs over many drivers, while keeping an eye on quality control to ensure that customers always receive the same fast, professional service, no matter where they are.
1300 RUBBISH is now jointly operated by three brothers Geordie, James and Hamish Gill, and their business associates. |
